New BBQ

I've wanted a gas grill for years, so we finally, FINALLY got one. And it's pretty nice too. Broke it in last weekend with a few friends...

This picture actually my first pass at assembling it. I wanted to beat Loren's time (all day) and Jacob's time (6 hours), so I blazed thru it and assembled it in only 1.5 hrs. But it was backwards. So I had to take it appart and re-asseble it the next day. All in all, it took about 2 hours to put together. I don't know why I have to be so competitive about that kind of stuff...

Now that I look at this picture, it looks kinda strange. I swear, it's a purely platonic relationship.
Ben's tofu dogs were the first to go on.

Now time for a little chimney art...

Oh Yeah, I have a Camera Phone

It occured to me that I've got all these pix on my phone that I never really look at or do anything with. So here's some random phone pictures.

International Fight League

Went to an IFL bout Friday with Shaushu. Seattle has a fight team called the Tiger Sharks. It was a pretty interesting experience. There were some really great fights and some really boring ones. There seemed to be two types of people there: 1) Martial Arts / boxing /wrestlers who were there to admire the athletisism and technique and 2) meat-heads hoping to see someone get hurt. I'm in the first catagory, thank you... And the TigerSharks team lost.

New New Bike

My new old bike, the Peugeot, busted. That thing was a piece of crap anyways. So I picked up a brand new bike over the weekend. A 24 speed K2 Mach 1.0.

It's not the fanciest road bike they sell... but it's a good cross between a racer and a comuter. I rode it 28 miles yesterday and it totally kicked butt! It's an aluminum frame and has STI shifters (push the brake levers to the side to shift) and it has a sweet little computer that shows cadence and a bunch of stuff. Also key to this whole operation are the clipless pedals. The shoes clip onto the pedals (don't know why their called clipless) so you can maximize each revolution of the pedal.
And the topper here is that the bike's normally $600, but I got it for $189!

Seafair Triathlon

I just signed up for the Seafair Triathlon. It doesn't seem that hard... .5mi swim, 12mi bike, 3mi run. Should be an interesting experience tho! Adam's doing it too, along with my buddy Greg and I think Ben.

Back from Cancun

We were in Cancun for the past week and a half working at the Fiesta Americana hotel. I was shooting another video for work. Kathleen was assisting me (I know, tough job).

Pool and beach from the roof

Our first meal at the hotel - amazing food...

The view from our room

My cash bonus for being such a great guy.

Me and Steve talking about women

Kathleen and Tammy talking about men

After work was over, we moved down the street and stayed at a simpler (cheaper) hotel and had this awesome top floor corner unit.

Street scene from Isla de Mujeres - a small island almost completely untouched by the Capitalist pigs. Very quaint little streets, shops and people.

Some aftermath from Hurricane Wilma.

We also went to Playa del Carmen. Kath had some fish.

According to my calculations, 5% of the women on this beach were topless. Swear to god, no tops. I mean completely nude from the waste up. I love Europeans.

This was not a demonstration of the melting of the polar ice caps - this was a Margarita.

Mexican version of a squirrel

This was the warmest ocean I've ever been in - probably 75 - 80 degrees and clear.

Flying home
