Cover the Earth... with paint

The Sherman Williams logo has got to be one of the strangest logos. Here is their "classic" logo and here is the "updated" one.

I can't believe that they are still using a logo like this in a day and age when almost everyone is concerned about Earth-friendly everything. So let's have a logo where the planet is on it's side being drowned in freakin' red paint! Hilarious!!

Olympics Food Court

Evidently these are just a few of the delicacies at the Olypics in Bejing. Now, I say don't knock it til you try it. For instance, whoever took these pix included Sea Urchins as one of these "gross" or "shocking" foods, but I LOVE sea urchin (aka Uni on your local Sushi menu).

Camping at Cape Alava

Cape Alava is the Western most point on the continental United States. A little trivia for ya there...



We spent 4 days out on the coast with 11 others. We had a little of all weather patterns. Enough rain to test out the new tent and enough sun to dry out my clothes after getting caught in a down pour.



My highlights included flying my kite laying down w/ my eyes closed (a rather Zen moment), having a cigarette with a cup of coffee (haven't done that in a couple years), seeing a dead whale (seeing was much more fun than smelling), and hanging out with our very people-friendly deer neighbors.
