According to the Humane Society, Canadian fishermen are clubing seals (mostly babies) to sell the skins to make a little extra $ during the off seasons. So we're supposed to not buy Canadian fish until they stop their shinanigans. You can sign the petition here http://www.hsus.org/sealwatch

hmm... i can give up canadian fish for a while. yes. hard to imagine anyone could club one of those little cuties while it looks him/her right in the eyes.
